Part of the ‘Century The Movie’’ retail complex, Avani Sukhumvit Bangkok  was an opportunity for our team to work with the blend between contemporary textures and cultural heritage patterns. The play with the Traditional Thai patterns translated into a contemporary bold design was the major direction of this creative mission.

The volumes management here plays a big role: the circular geometry of the all-day dining lobby expresses fluidity and harmony while the guest rooms adopt a sharp verticality on the wall materials and the rug patterns. We incorporated a rustic touch in the all-day dining area with large suspended wooden beams, her- ringbone flooring, used bricks on the partition and Italian furniture.
